    if badgely makes fg
if Mdub catches game winnng TD
if Faycson covers his reciever in end zone

Chargers could be 9-6 right now. You could say the couple losses were unlucky, nothing to brag about

If the Bengals kicker doesn't get a cramp mid leg swing, if Jerry Juedy doesn't drop 6 passes, if the Raiders recover Herbert's fumble in the EZ....

Oh crap, we are back to 6-9 again.

      See how that worx.
We can use if, ands or buts to be 15-1 or 1-15....because there is no if, and or buts against NE.

Why have him pass more? I’m gonna say to win games. It’s what I’d love to see. Just saying.

You think he’s running to improve and evaluate? Um, where’s the improvement? And I think he’s got plenty on tape to evaluate.

I’m hoping the new head coach will be a better evaluator AND improver.

Until then, pass a bit more please.

          If Harris doesnt drop INT
If MDub doesnt jump on slant route and makes 1st down
          If badgley makes extra point

yeah a number of game winning plays are made and not made. I agree vs Patriots was the game every single member of this team lost.

So yeah the team could be great or could be awful. Plenty of blame to go around

The problem with this exercise is that the difference between a loss and a win in a close game always comes down to one team making one or two more plays (or fewer mistakes) than the other team. Players on well coached teams seem to make that extra play or two to win those close games, while poorly coached teams don't or shoot themselves in the foot. We are all painfully aware of the shoot ourselves in the foot results the past couple of years that have led to many losses. The fact we were in so many games with a chance to win kind of invalidates the notion that our roster is devoid of talent as some claim. That isn't to say we don't have holes - we clearly do.
