I like Pep because he does have much more experience than Kevin O'Connell. And Pep did a helluva job with Herbert

I'd consider O'Connell just like I'd consider keeping Steichen. For DC, I'd want to poach Aubrey Pleasant from the Rams. I'd also take back Eric Henderson who was our defensive line coach a few years ago, and went to the Rams to coach their defensive line for DC.

There is kind of a big assumption being made here that the team is pushing the new coach to retain some of the current staff. What TT actually said was he had some recommendations on the coaching staff, but it would be up to the new coach. It could be he is recommending some of the current guys if the thinks they are good coaches (like Pep) or it could be people outside the organization.
