QB Easton Stick: Hoping to generate consideration for at least a spot on the practice squad, Stick did not do much to move the needle. Struggling to find his groove, he threw a pair of pick sixes early on. Now it will only be more difficult to stick around, as the team signed rookie K.J. Costello to offer competition.

I didn’t think his stock could go down. Huh. He’s probably saving it up for when the lights come on.

I really like the way Josh Palmer adjusts his body for the ball.

Another thing that strikes me about Palmer is how much bigger he is than the DBs trying to cover him. Not necessarily taller, but bigger body. He almost looks like a tight end sometimes.

Another thing that strikes me about Palmer is how much bigger he is than the DBs trying to cover him. Not necessarily taller, but bigger body. He almost looks like a tight end sometimes.

When they drafted him, I was like 'who' is he. Initially I saw video on him and his smooth route running and nice catch radius caught my attention, but I did not see him get much separation on the various college tape I had seen. Seeing him in training camp so far though, he has far exceeded my expectations as a receiver. Not only does he gain nice separation consistently against some solid DB's, but he seems to be getting that separation at the second level also.

And like you said, this dude is big and chiseled!! Not the overdone Boston physique either that would only slow him down..

I’m guessing the “activation” helps and limiting the practice to 75 minutes and 3 days max give players body time to recover.

I think TJ will emerge this year and make MW expendable. Barring an excellent season. He's playing for a contract. Make or break year for Big Mike.

Interesting, because I think the Bolts drafted Palmer to groom and be in place for when they let Mike Will go...the emergence of Johnson adds even more to our quality depth...Bolts better extend Tyron ASAP, who is in his last year of his cheap 2-year deal...
