    Good question.
    Fan is short for fanatic,
    which is defined as,
    “a person filled with excessive
    and single-minded zeal.”
Our quarterback is a golden god.

Depends on how you use the term faith.

Article from 2020, 4 teams have never been to the Super Bowl. 12 teams have not won a SB. Quite a few let downs for fans.

Wow...nearly half the teams in the league have never won a Super Bowl. Just maybe, some of that has to do w/ big market teams and money, and just maybe some of it has to do with league favoritism.

There I said it. I do occasionally get the impression, that for whatever reason, the league has it's 'pet cats'. If the Chargers become a bigger draw perhaps the league will be more friendly towards LAC joining the club. They surely want more from the massive SoCal market.

I'm probably talking nonsense. Just hunches and emotions.

I have been a fan of the Chargers for over 40 years

                  I think I am a good fan
But at some point -- they need to win games and not wet the bed with "finding ways to lose games"
So if media or fans are a bit skeptical -- they have every right to be

There are 32 teams. There have been 55 Super Bowls. It’s actually not a statistical anomaly that 20 out of 32 have won at least one title. That’s actually pretty close to expected, just assuming you randomly picked 1 team out of 32. Furthermore, it’s not random. We’ve had multiple dominant teams over the years like the 70s Cowboys and Steelers, 80s 49ers, 90s Cowboys, and Pats of the last 20 years. I. General, I pull for teams to win a Super Bowl that haven’t won one before, like the Bucs 20 years ago, the Saints when they got theres, and even the Seahawks last decade.

Also, I read how the Vikings lost four Super Bowls in the 70s (which I know) and since have lost six NFC championship appearances. That’s rough.

Bills lost 4 in a row in the 90’s.

Yep, Vikings and Bills have the worst SB blue balls. Each 0-4. The Bills, I think, lost 4 in a row. The recent expansion teams—Panthers, Texans, Jags—can wait. The Browns were the most dominant team in football the decade before the 1st super bowl. But Detroit’s been around forever and never made an appearance.

As of today, Vegas oddsmakers have the Chargers at +3000 to win the Super Bowl. Somehow the Broncos are slightly ahead of us at +2000.

Vegas must be factoring in Aaron Rogers. And I’m pretty bummed about that.
