Well good luck to him. As hope he can really help the team thrive with young Herbert!

Can we leverage any of Joe Lombardi's intelligence on the Saints to raid the free agent list, considering the Saints' cap mess?

            Trey Hendrickson

So many teams need pass-rush help and Hendrickson is coming off a season with 13.5 sacks and is just 26 years old. He was also tied for eighth with 25 quarterback hits. The Saints have a cap mess to navigate through and are likely to allow Hendrickson to hit the open market. The former third-round pick is due for a large payday.

Cost: Model estimates Hendrickson could receive contract values of projects contract offers for 4-5 years in the range of $11.5M-12M per year. - SI

P.S. I love Derek Carr-face after he gets sacked. The look of grievance is priceless.

This would be a good pick up. We all saw what happened when Bosa was out for a couple of games last year. Pass rush was nonexistent.

                1) Two top CB's
                2) Te Te if the two above are not available
                3) Trade down if all three are not available and we have a motivated trade partner and then draft your oline.

Otherwise I have visions of Fluker in my mind?!?!?!?1

With our current coaching and TT's success in getting DBs it will work itself out in terms of resolving the CB problem. 1st round picks (Derwin), mid/late round picks (King), and FA (Heyward) all worked out for us. I see that trend continuing.

That said yeah the answer is to not reach. Stick to the big board. The year we drafted Fluker well I'll give TT some slack. A tiny bit. The first 2 rounds was pretty much uneventful for the entire NFL. Many players aren't in the NFL anymore or are backups.

Meanwhile round 3 produced Keenan Allen, Honey Badger, Kelce. So even in TT's worse season drafting it was better than most as it netted a Pro-bowler and 2 backups for the NFL.
