See who he is and what his football IQ is. If he passes those interviews. Then yes he is a top 100 prospect CB/S. And the early intercept in video was off a terrible throw by the #1 overall pick Lawrence. Players that have a knack for getting turnovers or being in right place at right time move up my board. He can also help improve special team coverage unit until he grows into a role in the secondary.
This is the type of player to spend the 3rd rd pick on. Not Pipkins or Mager. Or Watt or Tuerk. This guy. If he is still there in rd 3.

    1.M.Parsons-LB
    2.C.Basham-DE
    3a.J.Tryon-LB
    3b.T.Williams-DB
    4.P.Adebo-DB
    5.T.Graham-NB

    tough physical fast defense.

We can use free agency for offense lineman.

I like the concept of going this way!!! I was thinking very similar with going Best Player Available but also getting OLine in FA.

The only negative I have found on him is that he is slow transitioning in man coverage. I do not even know if this is fixable with improved technique or if it’s a physical thing.

With that said, he certainly brings energy and high level athleticism to that position otherwise it seems.
I read somewhere that several teams were considering Trill Williams at Safety. He can play several positions as a DB.

I like Trill just think he is @ day 3 guy
        I hear you.

There are other factors to consider as well which make me like Trill. Cisco is trying to make a lot of big plays and he does but also gets beat.

        Cisco
        Allowed 57% completion
Allowed 9TDs Missed 20% of his tackles.
And rarely line up in the box.
        Occasionally line up at slot.
13 Int and 2 forced fumbles.
        He scored 1 TD.

        Trill
        Allowed 51% completion
        Allowed 2 TDs
        Missed 13% of his tackles.
Line up in the slot about 60%
Played man coverage 44% of his snaps.
4 interceptions and 3 forced fumbles.
        Scored 2TDs
        And a punt return TD.

So I consider Trill a more consistent net positive defender. I want to know what I'm getting game to game and play to play.
Cisco is a playmaker but give up a lot of big plays too. And since he didn't do a lot of box work. Misses 20% of tackles and gives up TDs spying and being too aggressive. It's like he cancels out a lot of his big plays with his bad football. So he seems like he will be a player where you go yes nice and then no damn it.

Interesting stats. Where did you find them?
          .
As for what your getting, that's college. We hope we are getting a lot of potential and growth in both....with every player you draft.

Now there are some good safeties and CBs in this draft,... More so CBs and I like those guys but there are others I like better. However if we ended up with either, that would be cool too.

11 Brock Bowers TE - Georgia (plus AZ 2025 1st)
35 Kris Jenkins DT - Michigan
37 Cooper Beebe OG -Kansas st
66 Mike Sainristil CB - Michigan
69 Jaylen Wright RB - Tenn or Blake Corum - Michigan
          100 Brenden Rice WR - USC (trade ⬆️w/ Wash for 2025 5th)
          110 Cedric Gray LB - N. Carolina
140 Hunter Nourzad OC -Penn st
181 Jarrian Jones CB - Florida st
225 Cedrick Johnson Edge - Ol' Miss ➡️ 253 Fabien Lovett DT-FL st

I agree with more good CBs in this draft.
Think it's a deep draft for corners.

The more I think, the more I like that thought of him being a versatile DB piece that Staley can use. His open field tackling and stripping might be a great fit at Safety in this new scheme! He is such a high energy / effort guy, it is hard to imagine an athlete of his caliber not finding a role in this defense.

I'm also thinking about the need for improved special teams coverage unit. It's nice when a player can do multiple things.
Ekeler was a udfa. But in hindsight should have been drafted in Rd 3. He played special teams then move up RB depth chart. Prove he can catch it too. The more a player can do the better chance he can get on the field somewhere and help the team win games.

Yes, I agree about the importance of finding the right pieces to also add to ST. The loss of Watt hurt more than I initially thought because of the positive impact he had on the ST unit.

I absolutely love this young DB’s energy and athleticism!

I just noticed Rueter's 4 round mock...so if already posted and discussed, sorry. Really like the sum of the parts here...very nice draft, with a mixture of some of my favorite players, and box checking for needs with the last 2 picks...

                      1. Rashawn Slater OT
                      2. Pat Freiermuth TE
                      3a. Josh Meyers OC
                      3b. Kelvin Joseph CB
                      4. Hamilcar Rashed Edge

Edit: Looking closer, if the draft went the way Reuter says, we coulda had this...

                      1. Rashawn Slater OT/OG/OC
                      2. Pat Freiermuth TE
                      3a. Eric Stokes CB
                      3b. Walker Little OT
                      4. Hamilcar Rashed DE

I think a lot of fans on here would be happy with that...alas, it's a fantasy. No way it goes like that, lol...that looks like a draft machine result...
                      The TPB makes plans....

                      And Jim Harbaugh laughs...

It would be ok. Im not drafting a TE that high til i know what we did with Henry, and if resigned, not drafting a TE there and im not a big fan of Hamilcar.

I saw his mock but didnt look at it that close to see what better options are there instead of him but im sure there were.
