Sad story. RIP, bolt brother. Comparisons to MW are premature. At Yr 4, VJ had only had one big year and had yet to cement his beastness.. MW may or may not achieve new heights. Thru 4 yrs, his record holds up against VJ at the same point.

Here's a long story from yesterday:
Widow of former NFL star Vincent Jackson speaks out for 1st time since his death, reveals CTE diagnosis
Former NFL star Vincent Jackson died in February and now as his widow reflects on his health and life, doctors have confirmed Jackson had Stage 2 CTE, a degenerative brain disease associated with many former football players. Lindsey Jackson sat down exclusively with ABC News' Juju Chang in her first interview since her husband's death and revealed the stunning diagnosis. "Vincent was an amazing dad -- he would do anything for his kids," she said.
Jackson never had a diagnosed concussion during his 12-year NFL career, something he said was "fortunate." But while diagnosed concussions are contributors to CTE, less severe but repeated hits can also cause damage. According to the CTE Center at Boston University, around 20 percent of people who are diagnosed with CTE never had a diagnosed concussion.
