      Hmmmm.
I think Gurley is about done. He really tailed off in the second half. I have no way of knowing but his knee must still be an issue.
I would pass on him and draft a young buck. Niners can have him.

Oh, okay...well, in that case, RB Ingram might be a decent addition in the rotation at the right price...

Just draft a late-round RB every other year and always bring in UDFAs. There’s plenty of talent and fresh legs out there.

This year I like Jermar Jefferson. He always ran hard behind subpar lines at Oregon State and always produced. +No injury history.

            5’10, 217.

Of course they all would look better with a good oline but we could use another back. Having said that, we need help in other places before RB.
Rich I thought he looked like a solid rookie. That was another Lynn head scratcher. He showed promise and Lynn just stopped playing him. I think you're going to see a nice work horse back for us. With 32nd DEAD LAST ranked O line RB's really suffer. That's why they are always out in space for dumps. I just HOPE that come September I will be grading the Chargers off season as an A+. If we could just flip the table and have a top 10 O line I really think we may see a deep run. Hell I would settle for AVERAGE :whistlin:

he hasn’t been right for a couple of years now. Huge drop off from the MVP caliber season he had for the Rams. Knee arthritis or something.

Jermar is an excellent prospect. I won’t be surprised to see him go in round 3.

Larry Roundtree, Gerrid Doaks, and Jah-Maine Martin are day 3 RBs I like for us.

Outta those 3 others I liked Jah-Maine the best. Looked like he also ran behind a subpar OL. Didn’t like his ball security/fumbles in the bowl game, but other that that game, he didn’t fumble at all in his college career.

Jermar Jefferson had excellent ball security. 514 college carries, 0 fumbles.

From what I remember hearing about him, he totally lost confidence after he fumbled a couple of times. But I wonder if it was the coaching staff that lost confidence in him?

Yup, before the fumbles he would spin around and try to juke defenders off their jack strap. Afterwards he would just run north/south.

Due to our below average OL, I don't feel like I know how capable our RB's are.
Everyone talks about the need to improve on pass blocking but the inability to run block by this years OL is every bit as weak.
