    Two tips though:

1- be sober going into the tattoo shop...get wasted later.
2- bring a friend well versed in legit tattoos

    Trust me LOL

        I hope Staley does this.

This speaks to two young head coaches most of all: Kyle Shanahan & Sean McVay. I predict Staley joins that
          cali duo.

And you've got me thinking about innovations w/the offense. :-)

I was just reading something from Brandon Staley that Adderly "is our type of safety." Somewhere there is some video of Staley playing up Mike Williams, talking about he has a plan to get the most of MW's skill sets. I don't know if that is Staley hype as he tries to win over his players or if he truly feels he can turn both of these guys into high-level performers.

MW has got to stay healthy. Same issues as Allen had but mike puts himself in jump ball situations that have a higher risk of injury than Allen plays. Love Mikes skillset. But i think the tendency to hit the deep fast threat should continue. Losing Henry may bode well for Mike too. We have a lot of weapons still...who knows what gets added though.

Agree. Finally had time to watch/finish his presser. Wow what a breath of fresh air. Previous coaches would give you “coachspeak”... Staley sounds like he went through the entire roster and didn’t leave any stone unturned. He was very accurate with his evaluations. It sounds like they know what they have on both Pipkins and Tillery. Pipkins will require a year or two to fully develop. Not a failed project yet.

My favorite answer - the question about how the Jalen Ramsey role, Star/ Money and would Derwin do the same.

If I recall - first he noted that Jalen was a CB and Derwin a Safety. But he talked about how it was Jeremy Pruitt at Florida State since both Jalen and Derwin went to FSU but Pruitt got it from Saban, and Belichick and how Kirby Smart and Wil Muschamp use it. In one sentence he said five other coaches. Staley just seems like a football junkie understanding the lineage if you will of scheme and what not.

Then the question about building the wr corp like a basketball team came up. Seems like he doesn’t limit himself to football. I bet you he will do well in Jeopardy

Star is the nickel DB in Staley's D. Ramsey is not a very good run defender, so they asked him to do a lot less of that, and asked him to travel around an matchup vs #1's and #2 a lot more. Derwin is a great coverage guy who can play CB, but he is an outstanding run defender, so I don't see them doing exactly the same thing. Plus while he can cover the a lot of #1 and #2 WR, they will be careful of matching him up vs guys like Hill for KC, because while James is a a 4.4 guy, he is not going to fare well in space against 4.2 .. 4.3 guys. Again, in the Staley interview he says that Ramsey is a great coverage guy outside and inside, and James is a great guy in the box and deep in the secondary. Different types, so some things will have to be adjusted.

The big thing is that if people think Staley in going to use Bosa in exactly the same way that they used Donald, and James in exactly the same way they used Ramsey, they are mistaken. They are all great players in the same position rooms. But the similarity ends there. Bosa is going to continue to do Bosa things. He is mostly an edge rusher who lines up inside a little bit. James is a guy who can line up all over the secondary, but he is going to do more S things, than CB things.
