Yeah...until you realize that he has no reason to bring the team back to SD and that everything could be completely rebranded.

Not that moving them back to San Diego would happen - but if Dean and the two kids are out of the building, and every family member - probably would be a net positive for the team. Unless somebody like Bezos is worse as an owner (meaning more Daniel Snyder than Robert Kraft).

As I mentioned in my previous post, it sounds great on paper if Dean sells it to someone rich like Bezos. But it would only be great if Bezos brings the team back to SD, keep the brand the same, and build a stadium on his own without using public funding. But I don’t see any of that happening.

Of course it's a long shot. I don't think anyone thinks different. But really, didn't most people see this happening at some point? Spanos selling? He's getting squeezed for the same reason he moved the team out of SD- he's minor league and can't afford the bigs. imo.

Forbes valued the team at $2.6B in 9/2020. The trust owns 36% of it, or $936M in illiquid assets. I don't blame her for wanting it sold.
