DAY TWO - Name Your Three Selections by Our Chargers Brass

this is my best guess (w/some "help") as to who will be on the board come day two.... make yer selections right here and right now:

47 * my guess ‘tis pretty much a matter of which CB you like here

OC Creed Humphrey * gotta believe/sneakin’ suspicion that Coach Staley would like some Creed in his IOL
OG Alex Leatherwood, Quinn Meinerz * crowd fave has ascended to day two and will be available
OT Jaylen Mayfield, Dillon Radunz, Walker Little * if you’re Ninjadamus you’re good w/two of the three here
DT Levi Onwuzurike, Daviyon Nixon * some IDL help would help
ED Joe Tryon * dude has gotten plenty of love during this process
LB Nick Bolton, Ronnie Perkins, Baron Browning * hard to believe this is the direction we’d be going
CB Asante Samuel, Eric Stokes, Tyson Campbell, Ifeatu Melinfonwu, Aaron Robinson, Elijah Molden * after nabbing our LT of choice @13, hard to believe that we won’t follow that up w/our CB of choice
S Jevon Holland * prolly a bit too early for adding to our new slew of DBs

77 * my guess is that Staley is goin’ safety here, but not sure we shouldn’t be going IOL

WR Amari Rodgers, D’Wayne Eskridge * not yet, maybe not ever (@least not until UDFA/round 8)
TE Brevin Jordan * don’t think he matches up to other talent on the board here
OC Josh Meyers * three letters/words…. yes, yes and yes
OG Trey Smith * my goodness is this good value…. yes pls
OT Brady Christensen, James Hudson * one in hand (@13) is better than the two in this bush
NT Alim McNeill, Tyler Shelvin, Marvin Wilson * if you want one, this might be the place to nab one
DT Jay Tufele, Milton Williams * no shortage of temptations here
ED Payton Turner, Rashad Weaver * can’t speak to the either of these two gentlemen
LB Dylan Moses * very tempting, but should be off the board altogether
CB Paulson Adebo, Shaun Wade * the latter is prolly a consideration, albeit not sold on his intangibles
S Andre Cisco, Hamsah Nasirildeen * it’s (really) gonna hurt missing out on someone this round

97 * the Golden Domer gets a lotta love in these parts, albeit think someone is gonna weigh in here for an RB

RB Trey Sermon, Rhamondre Stevenson, Chuba Hubbard * sure looks like an attractive proposition here, and… can’t say it’s not a position of need
TE Tommy Tremble, Hunter Long * lotta love for TT goin’ TT here
OG Deonte Brown, Kendrick Green * lotta love for the latter, not so much for the former
OT Spencer Brown, Stone Forsythe, D’Ante Smith * would be a shift in organizational philosophy if we double dipped here
NT Marlon Tuipulotu * in case you missed earlier and dearly loved this guy
ED Janarius Robinson, Quincy Roche, Jordan Smith, Dayo Odeyingbo, Patrick Jones * if it’s as much of a need as some here make it out to be, how long can you hold off if so
LB Chazz Surratt * does he get you excited in lieu of others here
CB Trill Williams, Benjamin St. Juste, Ambry Thomas, Israel Mukuamu * little rich/early for Ambry by my take
S Talanoa Hufanga * sooner or later, Staley is gonna be looking DBs

118 * sneak peak preview prognostication says…. ‘tis CB Shakur Brown
RT Taliese Fuaga, DT Jer'Zhan Newton, NT T'Vondre Sweat, LB Cedric Gray, TE Ben Sinnott, RB Daijun Edwards, FS Cole Bishop, QB Joe Milton

    My best guesses...

    #47: Grant, Holland, Samuel

    #77: Molden, Melifonwu, Adebo

    #97: Tremble, Odighizuwa, E. Smith

I better hit on one of those.

back 2 back DBs is prolly a reasonable wager, and.... not sure if Odi doesn't go day three, but do think he's gonna help somebody cause disruption up the middle.

and wondering if team Tommy John might surprise and stay clear of the Golden Domers altogether ??

and Elerson Smith def has the measurables, but not sure he's not there day three as well ??

Based on his new body weight, Senior Bowl performance, and pro day, I think ESII rises up boards.

The simulators are wrong once again.

I remember last year when they had me believing Antonio Gibson would be around in the 4th.

Tommy Tremble - Telesco will use a draft pick to trade up for him

          CB - Stokes

OT - Little (if Horn was taken at 13 or Surtain)

GOOD thread. Day two is going to be a lot of fun in this draft. It may be the most important draft day of Telesco's career. I'll post my picks in a bit.

              I think you are correct.
Gonna have to think for a while.

I'm going on the assumption it's OT in round 1, with no trades up or down.

                #47 Joe Tryon Edge Washington
                #77 Pauslon Adebo CB Stanford
#97 Tommy Tremble TE Notre Dame or Kenneth Gainwell RB Memphis, depending on which one is still on the board. If they're both on the board, it will be Tremble. If neither are on the board, I'll go with Shaun Wade CB Ohio State.

my thought for the peoples thinking CB or otherwise @13, are not unlike guys like myself last year who were wary of Herbert, and had us going OT (Wirfs) instead of QB, and....

don't think team Tommy John is gonna stray from OT @13.

                    47) CB Tyson Campbell *I'm real high on Campbell. A steal if he's there at 47.
                    77) TE Brevin Jordan / S Talanoa Hufanga / TE Tommy Tremble *I can see a reach here if there's a run on TE's.
                    97) TE Tommy Tremble / TE Kenny Yeboah / S Andre Cisco

If TT can get S Jevon Holland at 77 and a TE at 97, that would be ideal.
Can't believe DE Patrick Jones II is dropping so far.

Fun fact, Bolts have drafted 6 Safeties in the last 4 drafts. And for some reason we need to draft another.

I really want a DE, and DE Patrick Jones II has been dropping. If we only kept Jenkins, then might be able to squeeze him in.

                    118) DE Daelin Hayes / WR Anthony Schwartz *Track Star and speedster.

My picks are based on the fact we selected an OT at 13.

                      47. Joe Tryon (if he falls that far, grab him)

                      77. Paulson Adebo (a smart kid from a brainiac university)

                      97. Benjamin St. Juste (give Staley his new CB toys)

3 picks for the D. Tryon to make anyone forget about resigning Mel and then new blood for the CB room. I am more worried about CB than TE truth be told even though TT from ND is a tempting thought. However, can you go wrong either way?????

AND you know that TT is going to scratch his ND itch somewhere. Maybe on a o line double dip in the 6th..........

#47: CB Asante Samuel. Chargers visited twice. They either really like him... or their first smokescreen was a poor effort.
#77: S Jamar Johnson. Ballskills, likes to tackle, smart, leader.
#97: Edge Elerson Smith. High ceiling to develop behind Professor Bosa. Senior Bowl special.

Squares away Brandon Staley's secondary. Adding another pass rusher helps DE depth behind Bosa and adds situational pass rusher opposite Bosa. Improved pass rush also helps secondary.

Day 1 (OT Darrsaw) was Operation Run Better and Protect Franchise... Day 2 is give the kid genius his laboratory tools...
