His mom and brother were big Broncos fans but not anymore. This is off to a good start Mr Slater.

I’d disown my own son if he were drafted by the raiders

          sorry son, Chargers came first....

If Rashawn is the Beast, Herbert is Cyclops (Leader)
we need my avatar (Wolverine) to play RB

Edit: maybe Ekeler already is our Wolverine

Instant regeneration is what we need for all members of this team.

Gotta say a big thanks to our resident TPB nerd boys for checking in to refine the nickname. I always knew your nerdiness was going to pay off for us someday - just like in the movie. Props.

I have a good friend, born/raised in Chicago before moving to San Diego. so hard core live n die true to blue CHI fan. Bears and Cubs, or fuck the fuck off!

Then his son in law got signed as kicker for Panthers a few years ago (feels like 2 so it was probably 4 or 5?) and he instantly became the biggest Panther fan ever. I think the kicker was let go for last year, so whoever was PK there for a few years prior to that? - like I give a fuck about a panther kicker.

So Yeah, if i had a FAMILY member on a team, I’d instantly be a huge fan. Thats more reason than ever to love that team.

It would be painful, but if my kid ended up on the Raiders, I'm now...it's too painful to write. But you know, I'd support my kid.

I think Ekeler fits the bill, height wise and his toughness. Height was my only knack with Hugh Jackman playing the part.

Just saw an interview with him on NFL Now. Was really impressed by his demeanor. He comes across as likable and intelligent, going to be a fan favorite. Believe he is going to be a true mauler. He shared that the Chargers only contacted him once, via a scout, prior to the draft. That was probably because no one at the Chargers thought there was a chance he would fall to us. Good times ahead!

If Rashawn Slater has anywhere near the career Jackie Slater (not related) had that would be awesome. Be cool moment for the two of them to meet, think Jackie lives in Orange County, maybe give the youngster some tips?
I wasn't always physically dominant, but I strived for perfection. I think I put relentless pressure on my opponent. He clearly could have dominated the game, and that didn't happen.
