TT should do what’s needed for Mike to stay aboard. He hand picked him as a number one. Granted, MW’s isn’t a household name after this many years. Still...
Welcome Tre' McKitty, TE Georgia (Pick #97)

Funny thing is the Raiders did just such a gamble with their first line pick of an O-lineman no one ever heard of. Pretty moxie of them.

His nickname is Slippin’ and I love him. VG comparisons seem very off to my naked eye as he looks a lot faster, more fluid, more athletic on the limited tape I’ve seen. Not as strong of a blocker probably, but in truth VG wasn’t as great at blocking as a non-receiver TE needs to be.
If third rounders play, they were great picks. Lets see, I’d almost put his odds above the WR (who i think i also like).“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

I could probably justify the pick, but why? The Bolts wanted a blocking TE and overpaid to get the best one left. They must need that skill to make the O more efficient.
Time to move on to training camp. Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
The Wasted Decade is done.

I followed UGA closely last season and their QB play was absolutely horrible early last season.
It stabilized late last season when JT Daniel's took over.
Also McKitty had trouble getting on the field playing behind Darnell Washington who is a 6'7 monster TE. Darnell looks to be the next Kyle Pitts in the 22 draft.
Washington became a favorite target for Daniel's.
I see this pick as an early blocking TE and after cooks leaves competing with Parham for the starting TE position

McKitty could very well be our starting TE in 2022. I just didn't see him on the field much.
Of course I'm partial to Georgia players.

I admit I don’t know anything about him. Did not watch him play. I looked at his highlight reel and he looks pretty good. Fast, quick and good hands and physical (again it was highlights). And of course they don’t show blocking in highlights. But for those who say he cannot run routes, cannot catch, etc, did you see that in games?
Thanks!
