    Both 4rth rounders.

Saw him bat a pass in the air and turned around to almost grab it just like Phillips in 2004.

Last significant 4rth round draft pick for the Chargers.
Just watched his highlights and you’re right. Maybe he can revive the bowling strike sack celebration

Turner was a fifth round pick...Northern Illinois I think.

I like that TT is looking at players that played other football players and not romanticizing golden domes. Growth.
Sounds like Duke had excellent coaching for their d-line. That was one thing they seemed to excel at. I could be wrong but wasn't there another stud pass-rusher drafted from that team?

Put Rumph in as a designated pass rusher and the D has to pay attention to him. That little sucker just finds ways to get into the backfield. Not an every down player, but a designated terrorist.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Seems like most here are calling Rumph small.
              He’s 6’3” / 240ish# with 33 3/4” arm length.
SupaMel was 6’1” and playing around 245#-250# with 31 1/2” arm length, his last 3/4 seasons.

Antwan Barnes was 6-1, 240#...his size didn't bother him too much in 2011 when he had 11 sacks for us...

According to someone in the draft day thread, he bulked up to 240ish in preparation for the draft/proday but played at 220ish so it’s one of those projections since he hasn’t any film playing at his current weight

for his frame, 240-250 might be just perfect

iirc Barnes was a straight up edge rusher whereas Rumph can rush from inside as well.
but yes, just a very talent passrusher I feel embarrassed I never saw him.

We’ll have to find out where he got that information to see if it’s valid.
Well regardless of what his college playing weight was, he was 6’3”/244# at his proday. He can be an EDGE player at that size.

I know I’m PFF’s draft coverage they said he was playing around 225 in ‘19 when he was most productive. The 244 is from his pro day when he didn’t test so they were worried the weight might effect his athleticism some. It may have just been a case of him putting on weight too fast and it not being good weight. Personally I’m not too worried either way but will be interested to see how exactly Staley wants to use him. I’m guessing mostly situational pass rusher this year.
