    TG

40 TDs at 5.0 ypc in the SEC. As long as he's moving the chains in the 4th quarter I'm good.

We’ll see. He’s no Etienne or Najee. if he can run strong inside, he’ll have a place maybe. otherwise he‘ ll be JAG fodder. I don’t put hopes this late in the draft, one out of 10 show why they draft 7 rds. 9 of 10 show they shouldn’t bother. I can’t imagine what it was like back when they had, what, 13 rds?

Didn't they have 18 rounds back in the 60's? Imagine!

                Probably most of us.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Rountree must fit the characteristics they were looking for in a 4th RB or he wouldnt have been selected. Some here argued we needed a short yardage back...power back. Maybe this is that fit with his tackle breaking ability. As long as he didnt have a fumble issue breaking tackles is great for a rb...typically means you get to the next level of the D.

i say give the kid AND coaches the time here. Hes a late rounder with low risk. We arent relying on him much in the run game so ST it will be.

Its just a question of in what down era did he start and where on the Oline.
                    Late 80's or late 90's?

5 career fumbles/3 lost in over 730 career touches
So about 1 fumble every 150 touches.

He is not going to be our 4th RB..... He and Ekler will end up carrying the ball the most(unless either become injured).... Ekler more on the pass catching side and Roundtree doing the pounding..... it has been a long long time since Chargers have had a fast, elusive, and powerful tackle breaking back....... Even though Roundtree is our only every down all round type of RB, this team will still rotate at least 2-3 of them trying to keep all of them healthy and keep defenses off balance.....our other RB's are pure rotational part time backs....

As much as I like Justin Jackson, he spends so much time injured, you have to wonder if he is on the way out.

He’s good when healthy, but not so good that you have to keep him.
