I see Roundtree as a situational back and special teamer. Eckler is going to have a monster year behind a much improved offensive line.

I think it is a 17 game season, and way to long to have Eckler to be expected to take that beating. The team is best with a healthy Eckler when needed. He is not needed on every down. Roundtree can take a beating and stay healthy with Kelly rotating with Roundtree. Eckler will be available for passung downs where he really excels.

Just like Justin Jackson, Roundtree has had a huge number of college carries. I'd keep as many as i can.

About 12-15 runs per game seems about right for Ekeler. 5-7 receptions.

You know how a Lombardi offense works, he spreads the rock around. Roundtree durability checked a box and helped him get drafted by a team riddled with RB injuries. Ekeler will remain leader in touches, more screens too, but Roundtree will be a workhorse, and should help improve goal line conversions.
