agreed.... just don't see that guy yet (@least speaking for myself), as would rather go OL/WR/TE rather than the RBs eye see.... apparently some here do like some day two talent @RB.

I dont think Patterson is the answer either. He can be a rotational RB and he has matched his career high for carries this week with only 64 and is only averaging 4.2 YPC after 3.6 last year. Good rotaional guy though. But he is also going to be 31 next season so id only sign him to a 1 year deal.

Not big on bringing in 31 yo RBs that weren’t great even in their prime. Not that he isn’t better than our PS-level squad, just think we can aim higher.

Makes me wonder how much work is involved with updating player rankings in these draft sims.

If an amateur like me knows which players are rated 3 rounds too low, it would seem that whoever’s running these draft websites should also know.

Sometimes they dont do it til later months. It is a lot of work. But i dont know if they update them early like now as i never use those till our season is over or close it. When i did my top 100 back in like, Feb? or so...i was updatting that a lot from then on. And thats only 100 lol.

Guess you’re right.

I swore I wouldn’t start doing mocks until after the season. But it’s just too tempting (especially after a loss) to envision the team with some more talent on the OL/DL.

Guess it’s just wishful thinking. Unfortunately, our SB window probably won’t start until next year or 2023.

Cap space is on the way. We will be better this year but i didnt expect a playoff run. And we still could i guess. I think we will be better in thee second half. Things just arent gelling on offense yet. Cook mis communicated with Herbet on that INT. Gotta get rid of that.

Day 3 DTs does not scream “ANSWER” to our problems to me. Feel free to surprise me.

They usually do not contribute much until their 3rd season. So, you might have filled a hole in 2024.

I know...but he wouldn't have signed less with us. lol The guy they drafted Javonte Williams was probably my favorite RB in the draft. Thats the type of compliment to Ek im looking for.

Yep solid. Theres like 10 guys that are upgrades to what he have. Telesco getting it right is a whole different story. Honestly should have just spent 5M per on Fournette. 10M a year at the RB position is fine. Does he have another RB miss in him? lol
