I guess I was never that impressed with his route running, seemed he was on a different page more often than not.
See ya Tutu...

His big problem as a receiver is his hands. He has hands of stone and always drops a lot. I don't think any QB will ever have a lot of confidence in him, even when he gets open.
But then you get the Ted Ginn who play football like it is a track meet, and never accomplish anything as a receiver.
Again, Tutu is one of the best ST guys in football, he is worth having on that skill alone. He is nothing special as a WR, but he was adequate as a backup. The thing most people seem to downplay is that it is hard to find guys who are both. Most ST stars can't play a position even a little. They JUST play ST. And most backup players in the NFL spend most of their time on their position skills, and are only adequate on ST. Having guys like Stuckey, Gachkar and Tutu who can do both means we have some depth at the positions, and we have guys who excel on ST. We couldn't afford to have more then 1 of those guys on the roster if they were just ST guys. Then add in Connor, Walker ... we had a lot of good to great ST players who were contributing. I think we are going to be hurting on ST this year. Most people will just look at Jones and they will feel we upgraded because they can more easily see the returns, and that will satisfiy most of them. But field position is still the most important thing.
