Everyone loves our coach so far. Every media person he talks to says afterwards that they are ready to run through a brick wall. Or that they never had anyone explain things so clearly. Former players in the media say this is the kind of coach they wish they could have played for. Charger players say they have never been so prepared and that he describes exactly what is going to happen in a game and then it happens.

We have to give credit to Telesco and J Spanos. They went out on a massive limb and they absolutely nailed it so far. They picked a guy who was only a coordinator for one season. A guy who was never a head coach on any level. A guy who was all defense in a league that is all about offense. And honestly, I don’t see Staley not being our most successful HC ever. They may not win the division or make the Super Bowl this year, but the long term future is extremely bright because of him. And when the inevitable happens and other teams steal his assistants hoping to catch some of that magic, he will just reload with new guys and be as successful as ever. Other teams can try to copy all they want, but they will never be able to do what he is doing because the reason a lot of it works is due to Staley and how he relates to players.

I don’t like Romo so much because he wears on me. Like an annoying friend who just never stops talking. But I did not think he was biased to Cowboys during our game. He was pretty balanced and he loves Herbert.

Great episode. Derwin is really something special. I think in a few more games this D will be a lot better, just having some growing pains now but they are still playing well. Holding Dallas to 20 points is better than most of us thought it was going to be before that game started.

Agreed.
Derwin is an exceptional talent!
The D is still furring things out with the new system.
We are playing pretty well even with some mental errors and MTKLs.
