    Road Win

    On the East coast.

Vs a really, really good defense.

    Vs Soviet refs

    With miscues.

    GG team. GG coaches.

The touchback call was pure BS. That was points off the board for us.

That fumble call will probably result in a "letter" from the league saying they blew that call. Thankfully this Charger team (unlike many other Charger teams in the past) nutted up and got the victory. I think Tannehills lateral when he got hurt was more a fumble then they one they called on Herbie.

Why would a "soviet" ref favor the team from Washington D.C.?

There was some soccer movie from the 80s or something that had a US team playing for their freedom vs the USSR and the refs were cheating.

Or something like that. I watched it at soccer camp when I was like 8.

A really, REALLY bad call. Almost Ed Hochuli-bad. You'd hate to lose a game due to an officiating error like that.

The early dropped passes-- Mike Dub x2, Keenan, Jared Cook, and at least one more-- were troubling. Self-defeating.

But on that final 'victory formation' drive, these guys all made tough, clutch catches to help secure the win. Even K.J. Hill contributed.

Larry Rountree impressed. Maybe he can be complementary back for Ekeler the way that Mike Tolbert and Michael Turner were for Ladainian.

Yeah, there were some tough catches on that last drive.

Can't remember the last time I saw the Chargers do that, sustaining a clock-draining drive that ends in a victory formation.

Me either. 6:43 of command and control.

Pretty sure it was just a metaphorical reference to Olympic refereeing scandals. The point was that the bad calls might make you conclude that the refs were biased, not that they were soviet.
