Gruden is suing Goodell and the NFL and IMO the real question is why was Gruden targeted and only his emails leaked out of over 650K emails? In those emails were criticisms of Goodell and the Biden Administration. I’m not a fan of Gruden (except when he smoked the Raiders in the SB) but I hope he takes the lid off of some of the ugly that the league covers up and that he nails Goodell in court personally and outside the legal protections of the NFL.

Upon reflection, I realize that usage
of the term "woke madness" is triggering.

that politics on TPB is to be avoided.

and it just happened yesterday.

Biden used the term "negro"
when talking about Satchel Page.
The Right jumped on this as "evidence" of
see, the Left Wingers are the racists.
Well, Satchel Page did play in the Negro Leagues.
Think of historical context.
Biden was not unreasonable here at all IMV.

Trending back towards being on topic,
we will just have to wait and see how
Raiders teammates respond
to Derek Carr's posturing.

Biden appears to have antiquated racial viewpoints (evinced in more telling ways than the one you described), and he's a lifetime centrist: hypocrites should always be exposed.

I couldn't imagine Goodell would do that without Al Davis Jr being informed about it, and having some input.

Greg Williams was allowed back in the league as was a DC and a intern HC. Those assasin tactics was a big deal and he coached after the fact. You never know if someone will get banned or not but at worst, Gruden can always coach at the college level if he wants to.

Not that i care, i just think the league is hypocritical. Josh relapse Gordon is still being allowed to play. Gruden called Godell a f*g...lol, so lame that he would get banned.

The NFL cannot have this End Racism campaign and waffle in the face of a bigot in a position of authority in the NFL.

All of the recreational outrage aside I’m willing to bet there is some deep, deep ugly the NFL does not want to see the light of day and I will double down on that bet and say that the NFL will quietly settle.

You are right, they can't and they won't.

The NFL isn't going to end racism. We been trying to do that for decades and it's only got worse. Get it out of the league? Doubt it, just like the bad eggs are still in the league. But good on them for trying.
Not sure what calling Goodell a f*g has to do with racism though.

I'm sure there are many others who have used words that aren't liked by the "Shield". Half the league would get fired imo. Why else do they not want to open up others emails.

Gordon also went against NFL rules.....7 times over.

The NFL needs racism almost as much as the politicians in DC need it. Almost. Keep them divided and separate them from their money.
