The new DC for the donkeys spent the previous five years as the DB coach for the Rams and they did have a good pass defense. On the good side, our HC is very familiar with what this guy likes to do.

At the time, I wasn't pleased that he didn't come up with it.

Rivers got the interception, but he threw a very nice, catchable ball.
From another angle, Revis pulls away VJ's right arm the instant after he touches it.

        Chargers defense rank.png

        2021 4th Quarter POINTS.jpeg

The Chargers added the #5 overall pick in the 2014 draft at EDGE, who plays across from the #3 pick at EDGE in the 2016 draft, rebuilt the interior lineman position through free agency and the draft, and also did the same with the linebacker room and the defensive backs.

Herbert and the offense out-pace Montana, Unitas, Fouts, Marino, Brady, Manning....Any QB you'd care to mention in the 4th quarter. Mercy sakes alive, it looks like we got ourselves a convoy.

Time to revive this thread for training camp and going forward into the season.

Bad luck for the Broncos - Tim Patrick, their best WR last season, tore his ACL and is out for the season. The Broncos' trio of WRs - Patrick, Courtland Sutton & Jerry Jeudy - were touted to be among the league's best trio, ready for a QB like Russell to step in and elevate the offense to new heights. One of the reasons Russell cited for wanting to go to Denver was because of this trio. It sucks for Broncos fans. They did draft KJ Hamler last year, only to lose him for most of 2021 with some severe injuries. He is back and practicing at TC for the Donks. He will have to step up.

            Some Raider camp notes:
            • On the offensive line note, the team suffered an unfortunate blow as projected starting guard Denzelle Good decided to retire after another injury.
            • The Raiders suffered another injury blow as edge rusher Kyler Fackrell headed to injured reserve due to an undisclosed injury. Fackrell was expected to be part of the pass rush rotation along with Chandler Jones and Maxx Crosby.

Injuries on opponents should never be applauded.

That said, there is zero sympathy for the franchise that coached players to leg whip JWall.

Or the franchise that tried to maim Rolf Benirsche/Leslie O'Neal.

              Let Russ starve.

I have no problem with Chief injuries mounting: actually, it would make me happy.
A franchise seemingly immune to the injury bug, whose fans openly brag about how Charger teams are made of glass.

I'll be jabbing the knee all season of my Travis Kelce voodoo doll.
                Their luck can't go on.

Broncos, Raiders.....no: don't welcome this injury.

All injuries suck but not all injuries are equal
anything related to head or spine are a much bigger deal than legs, arms, acls mcls etc.
Competition-wise, we've been through too many to feel sorry for any team (not individual).

I'd never wish an injury on any player. But when such injuries happen, especially to a division rival, i will not shed a tear. We have certainly had more than our fair share

Right? I’m surprised they didn’t sign every LAC defensive castoff again. We all laughed last year, but it worked well for them
