I agree...... i also assume if Staley is the coach we are hoping he is, that the Chargers will come out extremely intense and focused on not making mental blunders and penalties......

Even though the Chiefs are a great team, unlike the first 2 teams we played, they are not a strong running team. I think Chargers are better defending the pass than defending the run...... so Chargers should play much better, win or lose, than they have the first 2 weeks.

I was happy to see KC lose the the Chiefs yesterday as a loss always helps us. But disappointed that they lost right before playing us. I believe they will come out more motivated after losing.

Hopefully the Bolts come out motivated next week after that undisciplined mess yesterday..

Wow..... He is a good player, if he is used like Ekler or Mckissic...... he's not an every down power RB.....

Even if Reid had Derrick Henry, he would not pound the ball every down.... he would still throw most of the time.... he is a passing guru.....power running is not his style....

Chiefs Should win based on talent & experience.....But we're allowing an avg 18 ppg which is pretty good, scoring an avg 18.5 ppg which isn't good.
Offensive penalties are killing us. Play a clean game & we have a shot.

Chiefs run defense stinks. In order to have a prayer the Chargers will need to be more effective at running the ball and ball control. And better red zone play calling. This defense cannot stop KC. Their offense is too dynamic and the Charger front 7 looks weak. Offense will have to break out this week.

Staley’s defense is built to stop KC’s explosive passing plays. But that requires Execution and discipline. That’s how we beat the Chiefs.

Our first few games are brutal.

We played WFT whose Qb was a 39 year older journeyman who got knocked out. Then we played Dallas who had more talent but not enough to beat us at home yet they did. Going to KC is tough. We really haven’t had it too tough yet
