"We're fortunate we have a gangster quarterback," new Bolts coach Brandon Staley said of Justin Herbert after Sunday's win at Kansas City. OK, sure, Coach. But for context, Herbert's the same guy who founded a fishing club in high school.

I’m okay with the “Justinian Dynasty”, which was actually a real thing under the Byzantine Empire in the 6th-7th century.

The first of the Justinians, also known as Justinian the Great, was the Byzantine emperor from 527 to 565. His reign is marked by therenovatio imperii, or "restoration of the Empire".
Our quarterback is a golden god.

I'm starting the rumor right now that Herb's Gangsta club members fished for barracuda, piranha and shark.

Pretty badass, if you ask *me*.

The problem with Herbert for fans of other teams is... how can you hate on him? He was projected to be a bust before he was drafted, so he is an underdog. He is a very, very humble kid. He is very respectful of everyone around him, no matter who they are. He played his first year for a rookie OC, a flawed HC, and behind a historically terrible OL. He gives credit to everyone else and always says he can and needs to do better. He does not talk trash. he is not arrogant, he doesn't even 'look' arrogant. He is shy, he stays out of the limelight. He has taken a beating and gets right up. And he is a baller.

              How do you hate him?

Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.
