You want to use up tempo in the right situations. Doing it consistently can make your offense predictable and lead to more three and outs, and put more pressure on your defense.

You want to keep the defense off balance. Change pace through hurry up, well timed screens, motion, peronnel package, or some combination. See Ekeler's screen TD vs KC.

Not dithering on 4th down like most coaches do also improves 4th down conversion I think. D isn't set.

The LBs and Gilman will play. Who, when & how much is up to Hill / Staley. The R safety is a definite maybe. I think not much. Gilman has looked pretty decent.

We’ll probably have Gilman be the main safety opposite of DJ. Of course, I wouldn’t be surprised if Staley put CHJ there instead. So we’ll probably have only rookie LBs. At the end of the day, the defense can give up yards again but it can’t give up TDS like against the Browns. The offense just needs to continue doing what it doing.

Neimann and Amen are splitting duties. The other main concern is what it does to our ST play.

Its a very winnable game.
Ravens are struggling to beat lesser teams and are coming off of a monday night football OT game.

They cleaned up on Denver, but that victory seems less impressive with the Broncos listless performance against the Steelers.

This game sooooo feels like a trap game: can’t stop the run (Jones, Murray out), zippy LB Tranquil out, high safety that closes like a missile (Adderly) is out. What does Lamar like to do? Run like a jack rabbit on fire and throw deep. If we slow/stop this very hot O enough to win, that’ll be Staley scheming like a demon. Go Herbert!
