Herbert's effect on the Chargers' fan base

If, right now SoFi is 50-50 Chargers-visiting fans, how much will that number jump in the next few years because of Herbert?

    As long as they win.
Which they should if TT does his job and the Spanish do what it takes to win.
Definitely have the QB and coach.

He’s getting a lot of publicity.
He wouldn’t be this popular if we played in SD still but now that we are in LA, big market, more lights, more tweets, more exposure, more ESPN, more People magazine.

He’s not only the best QB in the league, he’s an absolutely delightful personality and he’s downright gorgeous. Made for Hollywood.

I though one of our brothers in attendance said it was just 70-30 Bolt fans yesterday? Raiders will always be 50-50 if they can get ahold of tickets, LA is Raider Country.

There’s a lot of great things attached to the Chargers franchise right now. As an NFL product, it’s superb.

              Enormous market.

              Best uniforms.

              Alien mothership new stadium.

              Young, marketable, gangster-superstar QB.

Young, marketable, classy, savant HC (the anti-Gruden, if you will).

We air it out like Brees’ Saints.

              4th down aggression (8/9 thru 5 games).

              We win close games.

No thugs or personnel with off field issues.

              Underdog story.

              I could keep going…
Our quarterback is a golden god.

We just got lucky with Herbert. About time the Bolts had some.

Sofi stadium tidbit : FAA regulations dictated the stadium floor be built 100 feet beneath the surface — twice as deep any other stadium in the world. Too close to LAX

Natural acoustics will make it a loud venue.

There were worried about a plane hitting it. When they show pictures of it from the air...i dunno...it always looks a little low to me! You have to admit...watching games and seeing pictures from the new stadium...just amazing. I am glad for the Chargers they get to play in such a venue. Spanos made the right call. The players deserve to play in the best.

I think he is winning over plenty of salty ex-fans. We are an awesome team to root for right now, we are goint to get lots on new LA fans for sure too.

Exciting, young, explosive, progressive with our 3rd down is 2nd down and we'll be ready for it on 4th down mantra. An awful lot to like right now.

We are just at the beginning men. Its going to be awesome.....we just have to hope Staley helps telesco build the defense up even more because we can definitely do a better job putting a team around our stud QB.

Kroenke can't be too thrilled about it his tenant stealing the limelight with the hottest new flavors in the NFL, Herbert and Staley. He is trying to build his team's brand, identity and fan base too. But nobody is talking about Stafford and McVay right now. The Rams stumbled with that loss to the Cards in Sofi, while the Chargers are winning in prime time at Sofi. The wildest game of the week was at Sofi, but it was the Chargers doing the winning and getting all the publicity. The Rams are up in Seattle beating the Seahawks, but the storyline of that game is how bad Seattle is, and Russ Wilson's injury, not much about the Rams really. If the Bolts keep winning and the Rams begin to fade it's gonna give Kroenke hearburn, after all it's his $5 bil stadium! If the Chargers end up in the Super Bowl and the Rams don't it's going to be interesting.
