He really did appreciate and like Rivers
and I think he is sincere in his comments about Herbert

NE played Tampa with Brady down to the wire. I know they were at home and amped to take on Brady, but I read afterwards that belicheck threw everything he had at him defensively and it limited the offense. And NE is sky high after thumping the Jets and got to work on their running game a lot once it was a blowout

Good news for the most part on the injury and practice front.

I think Staley, Lombardi, (and Herbert) now know how Herbert can be stopped. The Dolphins and Patriots did it last season. And Baltimore did it this season. So they need to study and understand how he overcomes it. I was kind of hoping Staley would have already done a lot of this because he can tell Lombardi and Herbert how HE would attack him. Perhaps maybe he already has and that iis why Herbert has been so great until Baltimore?

Can they slow Patriots run game?
Is Viz going to miss more kicks?
Does Roberts make an impact?
Does Staley go for it multiple times because they didn't get it done on early downs?
