You said it. Look at the stark contrast of Rams versus Chargers in acquiring more players recently. Rams are committed to winning now. Chargers…who knows?

Last year Staley had the #1 defense. This year is different because he doesn’t have the same talent on defense and when key players are out….it’s really ugly.

Unless they stay healthy the rest of the year, it’s hopeless.
our defense is horrible......against both pass and run.... the only reason our pass defense appears to be decent is that we let teams run at will and most teams choose to put their effort to running.... the bikes were running at will, but then suddenly quit running and started targeting cambell no matter who he was covering..... with great success.... yet our coaches never gave him any help.....

I look at the Saints, Rams , even Chiefs. Teams that push the cap to acquire players. Also making trades. The Chiefs got Ingram for a 6th. Hell, I would have given the STeelers a 6th for Ingram or to another team for a veteran DL that might just be better than Fehoko or Merrill on the PS

There are many ways to build a team - but the salary cap is not one size fits all. The Chargers are very conservative with it; other teams are more aggressive and willing to maximize the salary cap every year.

Chargers did sign Caraun Reid to their Practice Squad and brought up Fehoko

I wonder if Reid is ahead of Merrill for this Sunday

So far, Von Miller and OBJ not gotten going yet. Too early to say. Grabbing big names may pay off for the Rams, maybe not. OBJ had shit chemistry with Baker Mayfield. My grab is that…OBJ has had his day. Von too.

Put Bosa in an airtight container and don’t open it until Sunday kickoff.

                  Since they moved to LA
                  brought in RAmsey
                  Stafford
                  traded for Cooks
these two trades for Miller and OBJ
traded a boatload for Goff - didn't work

there are other examples - the team is trying. And activity doesn't equal accomplishment but compared to the other team in the building, the records over the last 5 years are not close

Such moves pay off, if you make enuff of them. Just saying, Not the Spanos’ MO. They make slow calculated acquisitions. Sometimes I wish this organization would make bold chancey moves. They don’t.

I would probably trade benches with most other teams.
