That is what Matt "Money" Smith said on the podcast with Chris Hayre. Surprises me too. I do remember that in 2006 the Chargers lost to the Chiefs early in the season, one of their two losses that season.

2005 - lost to Denver first time (Dielman's first game - 2nd half)
2006 - lost to Chiefs early in season (OT)
2007 - lost to Chiefs early in season (Norv booed)
2008 - the infamous loss to Denver early in season (Hoculied!)
2009 - lost to Denver early in season (Monday night)
2010 - lost to KC early in season (Monday night)
