From PFT:
Chargers tight end Donald Parham Jr. is currently undergoing tests, imaging and evaluation for a head injury at UCLA Harbor Medical Center, according to the team. He is in stable condition.
In a scary scene, Parham hit the back of his helmet on the turf while attempting to catch a fourth-down pass in the back of the end zone.
Medical personnel cut off his facemask and immobilized him on a backboard before transporting him from the field on a stretcher. Many players from both teams took a knee.

The guy should seriously consider calling it a career if he gets an ominous diagnosis. He's young; he's got his entire life ahead of him. You only have to reference the recent news about Vincent Jackson and that DB who went haywire and killed a couple of people (forgot his name) to know that this is something very serious and potentially deadly.

Evidently, Mason Rudolph exhibited the fencing response in a game after a big hit. Once he regained consciousness, he was guided off the field.
Was Rudolph’s Head Injury Handled Correctly After He Displayed the Fencing Position?
Many individuals were shocked to see Rudolph walk off the field, even while supported. Protocol, for a head trauma that is enough to knock out an athlete, would be to use a neck collar and a hard backboard and immediate transport the player to an ER for further evaluation.
Hopefully, the injuries were similar and the medical staff was employing the right precautions.
