My feeling about FA cornerbacks...
The good ones get re-signed and are rarely available on the free market.
The one really good CB that could hit the free market would be Darious Williams (Rams)... and only because the Rams have cap issues and probably can't afford to re-sign.

Having said that, he probably will cost $16 million per year. You could probably re-sign Fackrell/Nwosu, Kyzir, Justin Jones, and a FA NT for that price.

We'll have to see which guys get re-signed and who hits the open market.

There are far more impact UFA CBs that may hit the market.

Carlton Davis, JC Jackson, Anthony Avertt, Levi Wallace, Donte Jackson, Kevin King, Mike Hughes, Fabian Moreau, etc
There are several other DB and DS that should make it to UFA.
Dane Cruikshank is my favorite as a NB/DS combo player.

Regarding Jameson:
He stole my heart when I saw how easy it was for him to toast McCreary up the sideline for that phantom PI penalty. I could feel Saban’s wrath all the way from Lake Tahoe.

Regarding ILB dreams:
Kyzir’s in his 4th year and he’s just starting to figure it out. K-9 and Tranq (2020 injury) are both second year guys. They are still ascending. I’m not willing to give up. Especially when Staley uses single ILB nickel packages most of the time. I want our talent on the field.

I would be more open to Dean if I thought he could play edge, but at 6’0, 235, I don’t see that happening in the big boy league. Additionally, I’ve made concessions because of the talent of Dean’s front four. He won’t have that luxury on our team. It will be shocking for him.

If I remember your list correctly, there were a lot of guys playing for teams that had plenty of money to re-sign them. Refresh my memory if that is not the case.

That's a pretty good CB list. Some will be re-signed, some will most likely be available. What will they cost?

He did but he got ejected for a targeting call in late first or early second quarter on a STs play.

What do you mean finished the game?? Jameson got ejected for targeting on a ST play with 9:03 left in the 2nd quarter.
