I thought we could use a thread to discuss the playoffs, which start tomorrow, and post our in-game commentary. Here are some of my thoughts.
BEST TEAMS NOT IN THE PLAYOFFS
Chargers
Colts
Vikings
TEAMS IN THE PLAYOFFS THE CHARGERS ARE (clearly) BETTER THAN
Eagles
Steelers
Raiders
49ers
Tempted to say the Bengals, since the Chargers beat them in Cincinnati, but the Bengals seemed to have improved and are red hot entering the post-season.
My picks this weekend are:
Bengals over Raiders 45-24
Bills over Patriots 27-20
Bucs over Eagles 41-31
Cowboys over 49ers 35-30
Chiefs over Steelers 33-20
Rams over Cardinals 23-21 - hard one to pick, but going with the Rams at home
I'm delighted the game in Cincinnati is the first game of the post-season, making the Raiders the first team to exit the playoffs. Herbert has provided a blueprint on how to scorch the Raiders' secondary. I look forward to Burrow throwing to Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd and CJ Uzomah. The Raiders are traveling to Cincinnati on a short week.
