Is the Fight for LA over now?

Or do the Rams have to win a Superbowl first? Kinda seems like we're the Clippers of the NFL or the New York Jets of LA at this point... Can we go back to San Diego?

Stan Kroenke. Now that is what an owner with a true commitment to winning looks like. I’m a fan.

Why would anyone in LA be a Charger’s fan when this great owner is there?
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

It's my opinion that since so many move to socal from all these very the country the LA stadium will never give a home town advantage because the most people in socal grew up rooting for a different team than the Rams and still do.

Not really. The Rams look like they have as many fans as we do.

Hahaha - too funny. Reality is that while the Rams are the better team, even with their history in LA the city is too transient for either the Rams or the Chargers to "win" the battle. If the Rams win the SB, they will certainly get a bump but you just had to look at that stadium to see nobody owns LA.

No. The fight will never be over...

That 20th spot in LA's top teams is within grasp. I can taste it. LA Sparks, G-League Lakers, LAPD, Mater Dei High School...were coming for ya' and your fans.

This! Die hard fans from all over have moved here. They will always come to support their team the one time they play here now and then.

Edit. but on the bright side for the Chargers and Rams, the games will always sellout because of that. Even if both teams were to suck.

"Fight for LA" was a slogan. It really meant nothing. Spanos did not come to LA to create a winner. He just wanted a stadium financed by somebody else.

The best proof that he is not all that interested in winning was his decision to hire Anthony Lynn in 2017. Anthony Lynn was unfit to be the Chargers coach, but it made the NFL happy. It made the Colin Kaepernick crowd happy to see a man of color in authority. Anthony Lynn wanted to tear the team down and rebuild it so that he could coach it. The Chargers were poised to go on a winning streak when they arrived in LA, but this decision damaged whatever chances they had.

I expect these kinds of decisions to continue

Yes, it's a done deal Chargers are back in San Diego next fall. Just like magic.

You can include Vegas in that category as well.
