    POLL: Should We Draft a TE? If So, Who, and What Round?

    Since so many teams have recently franchise tagged tight ends, (Njoku, Gesicki, Schultz) looks like we may have to draft one. Looks like Cook is gone, leaving Parham, McKitty and Anderson. Hope Parham is recovered from that scary neck injury, but in my mind, he's still a bit of a question mark. If we draft a TE, who do you like and what round?

      Sorry, Topcat, need to recall my vote. Don't want to draft a TE in the first three rounds and Dulcich will be gone by then. Wasn't thinking.

          See Likely in The Gauntlet...suction cups plucking on demand.

          Ball control and keeping opponent offenses off the field will help our defense tremendously.

          Worth the investment--great player.

            It might be a good idea to draft a GOOD pass catching young TE in the 4th round that has the similar abilities and the same kind of upside of the TE in Dallas and the TE Herbert hooked up with in the probowl....

                I would like to get Trey McBride but we have too much need to fill in the early rounds and I don't think he will last past round 3, quite possibly gone in rd. 2.

                  There'll be a good pass catching TE available in Round 5( Calcaterra, Bellinger, Ferguson, Turner,.....)
                  TT should have his choice.

                    Defense will be best bang for buck. No TE

                      A few 'experts' have us drafting Likely in the 3rd.

                      So, I watched his highlights and his game against Kansas.
                      What i foremost want to see in a tight end is a big target....a tree stump among midget corners;
                      I didn't really get that from him.
                      Loads of highlights are him beating division II corners deep.

                      An inadequate blocker by any standard.

                      Not opposed to getting him;
                      but if he can't pick up a complicated NFL offense by the start of year two, I'd rather go with another position.

                        Again, we can go with Parham, McKittycat and Anderson.
                        If you find out that Parham hasn't mentally recovered, then you can always rent some vet half way through the season.

                        Give up a 5th.
