I’m good with adding Everett, but I’m not sure about the dollar amount. That said, it wouldn’t shock me if there’s a reality where Everett is leaving for huge money in a couple years and we’re saying thanks for two great years and the memories but we can’t afford to pay him the money he’s due.

TE was a huge need, but unimpressed with Everette. Hopefully he surprises but I doubt it.

Does this preclude the Bolts from either, A) resigning Anderson, or B) choosing a TE in the draft?
Anderson can always come back as he will be a veteran minimum player so that doesn't affect the cap

choosing TE in the draft - I think would be a long shot now - maybe a comp 7th

don't forget they have kampoyer who was on the PS last year - it could be between he and Nabers for a spot on the 53 man roster

I still want Stephen Anderson back on another one year deal like we had a year ago.

Good runner after the catch. Like what we have at TE. Improved group and Parham and Mc kitty will each be better.

If Parham is good enough this year to beat out Everett, then our TE situation is in great shape. Right now, to me, it looks like Everett would start over Parham, but I am definitely in the "we need to use Parham more" camp.

I think bringing Anderson back would be a good move.

IMO, this signing means the Chargers don't *have to* look to the draft for a tight end, and probably won't draft one, unless someone they have high regard for drops into Day 3.

This signing is an asset to the goal of helping the Bolts' offense move the chains. AND run up a time of possession advantage over the opponent.

Looks like a solid strategic move, to me.

in 2021, Everett had the same number of receptions and TDs as Cook on 20 fewer targets.
