Everett has potential but never got enough targets. Don't be surprised if he produces with Herbert.

The dude is built and moves like a bigger WR and he gets that YAC all day.
He'll shine under this offense. Not afraid to block.

      Solid.

Cook was a better player, but has started to slip due to age. He can still flash some ability, but it's only going to get worse with age. Too bad.

Everrett is a solid player, but nothing very special. He will do until McKitty or Parham develops into an inline Te and can be regular players. Both are on their way to being every-down players, but neither has made it yet. Both are solid blockers, but both need work as downfield receivers, and route running. Anderson would be nice to have too.

This signing is an asset to the goal of helping the Bolts' offense move the chains. AND run up a time of possession advantage over the opponent.

Looks like a solid strategic move, to me.
Yeah, I think l agree. It seems there will be a TE by committee rather than one dominant player at that position, like we had become accustomed to with Gates and to some extent Henry. I think McKitty will also emerge this season too, so this team may have a deep pool at TE, without one elite player. And, as you note, it puts the team in the position of drafting the best player available instead of reaching to fill a need.

Yeah, he’s really just a bigger WR. He doesn’t outweigh Mike Williams by much.

              :20 Yes!

Chargers need to have this flanker sweep as a red zone or two point attempt. Everett is a very solid option on intermediate routes. I'll still feel alot better when Stephen Alexander and Donald Parham are both back and on the field. That said, I'll take the Chargers 13 personnel group over anybody's in the division.

They could give some carries too. He’s built like Derrick Henry and has decent speed.

Good signing. Everett is an upgrade over what we had/have. I was in the Austin Hooper camp, but Everett is a good choice, too. Keep it going, Telesco!

I'm happy with the signing. I'm also on the Anderson wagon. I liked him. And like someone else said he can play FB and I believe we lost Nabors.

Consider me more excited after those highlights. He’s got some explosion.

I like the signing (high catch %)
One less need before the draft
Chargers still have aprox 24M left to spend (10M for draft)
I still would like a RT sign before the draft

Nabers is still on the roster, but Anderson can replace him, as Anderson played a lot of H-back in the second half of the season.
