    NFL Draft Experience... Vegas!

Who's going? I was lukewarm on the idea, but my brother's wife had to burn some time-share points so they booked rooms during that weekend, so I should make it there, in time for the 17th pick. No, you cant stay with me! If you want to do the "experience" and get standing room access to watch, you need to get a OnePass from the NFL, but its free. VIP stuff costs money though.

Most of the draft activities will be at the Caesar's Forum, by the Linq, but the Opening day Red Carpet will be at the Belagio Fountains.

Even though I'm sure it goes without saying, be sure to wear a Chargers jersey.

When my son and I went to the NFL Experience outside of JerryWorld in 2018, we ended up getting to skip the very long line to get in to the draft and sat on the floor in the VIP seats simply because we had our Rivers jerseys on and they needed to fill the seats for TV so that it looked like there were a lot of people there. We also got the VIP goody bags as well - nothing major in them, but still cool.

It was an incredible experience - a memory that we will remember forever.

Show of hands. Who thinks Vegas is great? And who thinks Vegas is a crossbreed between a mircowave over and a dumpster?

I'm not judging anybody who likes Vegas, but i have to say-- the place has no appeal for me.

I love Vegas IF I am heading there for an event! Example, Pearl Jam concert coming up next month, Pac-12 Championship game last Dec., Charger-Raiders game last Jan, etc. If I have a reason to go, there is no better setting, especially if I'm there with like minded people who are there for the same reason.

If I am going to just, you know...Vegas? Then no, I am out. Been there, done that too many times that it is just not exciting anymore.

Also has to be a limit. Just two nights of Vegas sizzles, three nights or more burns.

I burned out on Vegas back in the early 80's when PSA used to offer empty seats on the night flights for 25 bucks cash out of Lindbergh. We used to hit it once a month and stay up all night and the next day. No rooms, just party fueled live wires until we came home and slept the next day through.

But I am taking my daughter there for her 21st in November. It's where she wants to go.

TD's, INTs, and STDs make for an interesting entertainment combination.

I'd rather watch the draft at home. Beer is cheaper and the bathrooms are more readily available.

I don't go to the strip on new years eve either. Hate huge crowds and I can see more on TV.
I Won't be there anyways. Been working out of town again. I will be there the week before the draft for that week but not the week of.
