Just read locally he has lost 19 pounds over the previous few weeks and that should help but the buzz around here is he will go undrafted. Bam Olesani is probably the better Ute O-line prospect and his size should translate to the NFL. He's only played football for a few years and has a ton of upside in him. Might be a steal at tackle in the later rounds.

Covey. What can I say about Covey? The dude could run for mayor of SLC and win in a landslide (so could D Lloyd but this is not about him). HUGELY popular here in Utah and he is just a flat out winner. I have some doubts about his size in the NFL but knowing him and his grit and toughness it will not be an issue. He has the best vision of any collegiate player I have ever seen, the dude sees this crazy rhythm of the field and exploits it with speed and agility. He will be very dangerous returning punts and will be a pretty good 4th/5th slot-centric WR rounding out a teams receiver room. Would love to land him on the Bolts, the punt returns alone will be must see TV, no bathroom breaks when the PR team is out there!

The punt returns on this highlight reel are just SICK. Hell I would take a kid like that on my team any day of the week.

Patriots just traded with Houston to get 6th and 7th round picks -- Covey to the Pats in R6 perhaps

            I LOVE THIS VIDEO.

Local interview asked which teams had contacted him Chargers were one that he said contacted him.

I'm reading a lot of good stuff about Chattanooga offensive guard Cole Strange. Not sure how much of a sleeper he is, though.

Is a 5th too high to scoop up Covey? All the guy does is break ankles and run like the wind. I watched the vid and in straight line speed, I never saw a defender close on him. I think the kid is going to be a stud both as a returner and a receiver. Talent for days.

I like he did a lot of his stuff against some top teams.

I was tired just trying to mentally tackle him in his highlight videos. The tape don't lie.
