Wow! I didn't expect to be this excited about a 6th rd pick. Starting LT from the Nat'l Champ Bulldogs. Smart, tough, good. Very few pressures allowed. Plays G, T either side. Wow again.

These credentials alone make him the favorite over Storm Norton, certainly, but Pipkins too. There's no reason to think Salyer can't be a worthy NFL backup, minimum.

I know there was some questioning his work ethic, if he interviewed poorly in regards to teams asking about that then I can understand the fall.

I feel like he can come in and compete for a spot. I had a low key desire to draft him often in my mocks as a value thing. Really think he ca push to start sooner/later.

What's funny is that these guys had him ranked for the late third. LOL! Granted they're bulldog fans...

Salyer looks real impressive...like at 5:00 when he blocks out the inside rusher, then still has the vision and footwork to break off and pick up the outside delayed rusher...nice...he may be able to play RT for us...
