Year 2 in this D should help.

Yep, dude should be looking over his shoulder, contract inclusive. When he disappears, it’s like having 10 guys out there, just brutal and game-changing to the negative. It’s weird that while his good stuff has gotten better, his bad is just as bad. Agree with the post somewhere above, he figures his shit out or he’s gone. When, I dunno. We’re grooming options…

I’d wager anyone that Staley’s vision for Zander Horvath is Kyle Juszczyk. Or maybe it’s Shane Day’s vision. Anyway, I’d be pretty stoked with a Juszczyk clone. That’s guy’s a weapon.
Our quarterback is a golden god.

Brandon Staley is going to select a DB in the 1st Round next season. Just got my crystal ball calibrated. For those who say right tackle, I think the staff is going to roll with Pipkens as #1, Storm as back-up, and if those rookie OGs pan like I think they can, kicking Anchor Feiler out to right tackle is on the table in addition. Plus, you never know who might come on the market after preseason games.

IMO, I like Vato but I've watched his game and it is the game-to-game consistency that lets down his game a bit. Vato may get burned, but it doesn't happen twice, either. I just feel it in my gut that the kind of players Staley is acquiring to be his guys - aggressive, high energy, & technically sound, and Vato, are two separate kind of players.

With you, ghost. Whenever he sees the field this season, he needs to play mistake-free.

Nearly identical athletic profiles if Horvath gains a bit more weight. Juszczyk took 3 years to really develop.

Kyle Juszczyk and John Kuhn come to mind. I wonder if thats what we are trying to do with this guy. Make him a FB type.

Hank was being hurried by his assistant to quickly, walk across the Q during one of those fanfest events back in the day but that didn't stop him from slowing down to sign a few autographs for my daughter and I.
love and respect for Mr. Bauer.

I loved to watch Hank in kick coverage. He was a show!

Our offense is a combination of NO, SF, and GB all of whom utilize FB in multiple ways, and coincidentally all 3 of those teams have connections to the guys you mentioned. I don’t think Horvath is guaranteed to get touches every game but I wouldn’t be surprised if he finished the season with 20-40 total touches/targets either.
