I hope we see him f**k some people up preferably a Denver Bronco DB.

TOTALLY thought Alstott when I saw this guy!
How is he recovering from his broken femur? Obviously, breaking the bone is better than tearing a knee up but still, how long of a recovery? Is he ready for OTA's at the end of the month.
Good pick...
Edit: just saw he made it back in season. Hope he's back to full strength.

Hilarious, this guy that might not even make the team has 5 pages of comments and Salyer who could be the steal of the draft has 4…"The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post. Some great convo here about the "cycles," the "chess moves."
Staley is aware of all of this.
It will turn out to be that the "we wanna be a LOS team" comment was most significant.
Staley stated that we made an affirmative decision to not draft WR, that he likes our WR population as is. The LB situation speaks for itself.
The only surprise in my mind is EDGE. There are plenty of hired gun pass rushers out there. We will wait for a decent price, if it is necessary to add someone.
Put a roof on opponents offenses. You don't know ball

re WR: we have a very diverse option of weapons considering WRs, TEs and backfield.

AFAIK Horvath has never been asked to be a lead blocker so asking hin to do so at an all star game is a bit silly. He has experience as a pass blocker and ST blocker.
Stephen Anderson learned to lead block when he was here. We don't do a lot of lead blocking but if Horvath can learn that and inline blocking he is a complete H back with great traits. I don't mind making that gamble at the end of the 7th.
