I was really taken aback when Staley released Tyron before the season started, I couldn't fathom why, I had been enthused to see how much T Billy had progressed, being with Herbert for a 2nd season. I really thought Herbert and the Chargers' offense was well set up having two young WRs with sub 4.4 speed at Herb's disposal. I was as disappointed as anybody to get the news that T Billy was out.

But, I strongly assumed that T Billy had some 'tude problems that Staley didn't want to deal with and that nobody has talked about. I did see a bit of that from Tyron, but was hoping it was just youthful immaturity and that he would "wisen up." But there must've been signs that he was going to be a diva if he started having success with Herbert.

Then Mike Williams happened. Mike, in effect, filled the hole at deep threat. Mike doesn't have T Billy's speed, but he was every bit as effective, if not more effective, as a deep threat (along with Guyton) with his style of game, and Mike can do more at WR than T Billy ever could.
