The San Diego Chargers at Los Angeles are now open for business.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
    The Wasted Decade is done.

Not sure how much feedback we'll get with rookies only, no pads but it's a start.
Aug 1st vets are in, pads go on.
        Aug 7th Intrasquad Exhibitions begin.

Every year at this time I'm reminded how stiff and sore my muscles would get for the first 2/3 days. I could hardly walk! I didn't have enough sense to work out ahead of time. Sure was fun though.

I watched four guys on NFL network discuss who they thought would have the number one defense in the AFC this year - two of the said the Bills, and the other two picked the Chargers.

It made me feel happy for a moment at the thought of what this team could do if the defense turned out to be that good because we all know we have a very good offense. However, I don't expect them to bounce all the way up to the top - fun to dream though.

With our offense, I'll take a top 10 defense, no need to be #1. Combine the two and we should be a force this year.

Hoping those that attend will share their observations. And those that read them will be kind and appreciative. And that Xenos will post Popper articles I am too cheap to buy. And that the Chargers win the superbowl this year while Roo watches it and eats so many nachos his tummy hurts! Football starts soon, brothers!

After waiting all these years, imagine how excited we'll be after they win the SB!!
I happens I watched this years SB with my Son-in-law, Danny, who is a long time Rams fan. I had a lot of fun watching him. He couldn't stay seated. He'd jump up and down, pace around the room and yell at the TV over and over. As I enjoyed watching that, the thought came to me how I'll be if I get to see the Chargers win a SB. After all, his team has been there and done that before, but fans like us will be going nuts after waiting soooo many years.
