Allen might not make it to the end of his contract with us, but there is no chance we get rid of him this season. There is no chance of getting anything juicy in return for him that would in any way justify trading him.

I didn't suggest this season. My point was if Palmer take another step forward we could see a shakeup in our WR's. this next off season via FA or Draft. I am pretty confident we are going to place a high priority at obtaining an elite WR this coming off season.

Now that you mention it, we haven't heard a lot about any of the backs. I guess they're concentrating on the passing game.

"Best" is arguable but they are very good. I don't see us targeting a top WR next offseason in FA or trade. Draft is a maybe.
Let's see what our needs appear to be following the SB and who / what is available at pick 32 , 64 etc.

I wonder why, perhaps sco fi was booked with concerts this summer? If that’s the case maybe the chargers should’ve booked it somewhere else, that’s unfortunate. I guess this is the sort of thing that happens when you don’t own the stadium…

The Chargers do have the deepest corps of WR in the league. I don't understand why some of you have a hard on for getting a new "elite" WR, when we already have two of them, and the passing offense is probably the best in the league as it is right now. Herbert is entering his third season with KA, MW, JG and his 2nd season with JP. The offense isn't broke. It's the last thing that needs fixing.
