It looked like it would "get done soon" 10 days ago. Not so much today. Agent Mulugheta is a fast rising top money maker in his field.
      I'm not holding my breath.
#10 if far far more valuable to the team than Derwin at this point. Any guarantee more than three years and I could just walk away from a deal with Derwin. Derwin has to play for us this year and we could franchise tag him for next year so after two years we could let him walk. Why does Derwin need such a big guarantee if he's solid? This is the first time where I think management stubbornness is warranted.

I wish we knew the real numbers and what the gap is.
I generally feel you have to take your chances (guaranteed money) with elite talents.
if it bites us in the arse, we'll have to take that gamble.

I'm fine with Derwin sitting out, at least he is not getting injured in camp again

Somebody needs to go bang on Telesco's door and wake him up. Much like they did this FA year when in years past he would sleep until the first week of FA signings were over.

Telesco is overmatched against the ferocity of rising NFL Superstar agent David Mulugheta. It’s a tall task, you can bet no way Derwin isn’t going to be the highest paid, most guaranteed MONEY safety in the NFL, with or without Chargers.

Well, you’re right. That guy seems to be the hottest young agent in the game.

only question for me is whether Derwin plays without the extension

If we don't pay him the Rams would be happy to in 2 years

                          Ultimately it’s Derwin’s decision.
