It's not a championship year but we'll make the playoffs and gain much needed experience
will be a good taste to end with leading into 2023.
Until Tatis breaks his wrist snowboarding in the off season

September is when you want to get hot just don’t tank and every year a team gets hot late and makes a run. Gotta get the pitching figured out and Martinez looks good although his innings are already high. Hader should help but you have to get to him.

I don’t know if anybody in the NL can beat the Mets in a five game series with Scherzer, Degrom and Bassitt and their closer is really good.

Article started off talking about Juan Soto, baseball's impatient, mega-rich owners, and the super salaries of star players: Soto's agent says he wants to break the bank.

Ballclubs owe their success, year in and year out, much more to team camaraderie than individual performance, as Matt Bloom, a management expert at the University of Notre Dame, has documented. Bloom subjected nine years’ worth of baseball salary and performance data to close analysis. His key finding?

“The bigger the pay difference between a team’s stars and scrubs,” as the Wall Street Journal summed up Bloom’s findings, “the worse its record.”

“Money makes those who pay it resentful and impatient and makes those who receive it feel guilty or inadequate,” the now retired ace sportswriter Thomas Boswell once lamented.

Give it time - we all saw the “new” pads didn’t shake the world, … but I still see it as YET. Doesn’t mean they won’t. Tatis should be back in another week. All they need to do is hold onto a WC spot and then get hot in October. Its happened.

manny is building a house “down the street” from my mom - she she’s him walk by semi-regularly. And no, I’m not telling these crazy stalker kooks where mom lives

Manny loves the Juan Soto deal and he’s not missing right now.
