BTW that HR Soto hit last night the pitch was almost shoulder high and he still destroyed that ball. TBH I’m a little jealous and we will never have a talent like that in Oakland unless we develop it and then we’ll trade him for a bunch of guys that play in Stockton. I hate our owner he’s much worse than Spanos.

Drury just hit a three run piss missile to put the Padres up by two. You hang it they bang it.

I hope Tatis stays healthy for us when he's called up. He had a double and triple Tuesday night with double-AA San Antonio so maybe he's good to go. Hard to tell how his wrist will react when he's in the line up every night though. If I were the Padres I would sit Tatis at least two full days before calling him up. Just to let his wrist recuperate a bit. I'd also replace Tatis late in games that we are winning.

I'm wondering where they're gonna put Tatis? DH to bring him along slowly? Back at SS? Not my first choice. In CF to replace a sub 200 hitting Grisham?

He's played a couple games at SS in his rehab at San Antonio so I would think at least some SS will be in his future this year.

I just saw that Tatis Jr got hit with an 80 game suspension for PEDs.

I have to wonder how much his shoulder is still bothering him. That could be one of the reasons he'd take any PED's. Regardless, this news is so deflating. I have little faith in Tatis, the person, right now. What a flake. Fuck. I want to be kind but I don't think he thinks things through...AT ALL.

The Tatis things is bad no doubt. That said what’s changed? The Padres have gotten this far without him and have added the needed protection in the lineup just look at Manny since Soto arrived. Fix the pitching and keep banging.

I feel for Preller. Padres lose all those great prospects and probably all for nothing. The playoffs are now in serious doubt IMO.
