The Tatis things is bad no doubt. That said what’s changed? The Padres have gotten this far without him and have added the needed protection in the lineup just look at Manny since Soto arrived. Fix the pitching and keep banging.

I think we were hoping that getting Tatis back pushes us over the top against the Dodgers and lead to a WS title.

I feel for Preller. Padres lose all those great prospects and probably all for nothing. The playoffs are now in serious doubt IMO.

If we can stay ahead of Milwaukee. I like the Phillies to finish ahead of us among the wild cards. Milwaukee's line up kind of reminds me of ours before we added Soto and Bell. So you could be right. Hope you are!

The Padres have scored 30 runs in their last three games hitting is not the issue. Clevinger looks good and he just got healthy correct? The reason I ask is he only went five innings tonight but his line looks fine although I don’t know how many pitches he threw and I assume they are building him back up.

Just as a example Scherzer went 7 innings tonight with 9 hits and only 1 earned run. That’s the shit you’re gonna see in October and the NL East is going to be a slugfest for the next month and a half. I think Philly falls off.
