I say Snell, Darvish and Musgrove. Snell has really turned it on lately. Happy for the city of San Diego. I think they can do some damage in the tourney. Of course if they had that certain player..............

we're realistic, so not expecting too much in the post season.

They got in without him and pitching is WAY more important in the postseason especially the deeper you go. Snell looks great and Clevinger has live stuff he just throws a lot of pitches and walks are a killer in October because they score at a shockingly high rate. He could be a weapon out of the bullpen though.

I don't think they'll do much but playoff baseball is weird. If their staff can be lights out and Machado/Soto get hot...it could take them far. Nobody beating the Dodgers this year, I'm afraid...

I haven’t looked at seeding and who plays who but I assume holding onto the #2 WC seed matters however I’m sure Melvin wants to set the rotation as soon as possible.

As for the Dodgers you never know and anything can happen it’s the beauty of this game. A guy like Soto can get hot and carry a team through a three game series. Also Machado’s numbers are worth noting since Soto’s arrival and he hit his way into the MVP conversation. He probably won’t win it but I do expect him to keep banging with Soto hitting in front of him. Also every year some mid level player goes apeshit in the postseason and a guy like Profar or Kim fits that role IMO.

Darvish vs Mad Max this should be fun to watch. I also like the Mariners vs Blue Jays series.

Soto absolutely rakes at Citi Field BTW.

Padres have a decent chance. The Dodgers looked unbeatable this season but never underestimate Roberts ability to be stabbed in the back by his Excel Spreadsheet as he is terrible managing in the post season and does not understand the game outside of metrics.

Need Machado and Soto to get hot, in addition to a third unsung hero bat. The pitching will show up, just need runs.
