Those boatload of players is only 4 on defense. Im not counting Reeder since he hardly plays. And of course Joey was a non factor after getting hurt early and not in football shape when he returned. It still has some weaknesses.......like Murray.

I think we should get a bonafide DC that will call the plays. Come on down Fangio.
Raheem Morris is the Rams DC. Not sure he runs the same system. He came under Monte Kifflin.

4? Mack, JCJ, Callahan, Day, Fox, Austin Johnson, Van Noy, Reeder. That’s 8 and doesn’t include draft picks and I may be missing someone

Ok so 7 lol. Still not counting Reeder. He played little. Fox was supposed to be depth.

Draft picks are draft picks and Woods likely replaces Adderley next season. CBs are depth pieces and hopefully they improve as they should.

2014 Patriots had 4 games where they gave up 150+ rushing yards. Gave up 162 yards in SB.

2011 Giants had 8 games in regular and playoffs where they gave up 140+ rushing yards. Gave up 147 yards in Division and 150 in conf game.

2009 Saints had 7 games in regular and playoffs where they gave up 140+ rushing yards. Gave up 165 yards in conf game.

2006 Colts had 10 games in regular and playoffs where they gave up 140+ rushing yards. 3 200+ yards and gave up 375 rushing yards in week 14. Eh. Won the SB.

If our run defense can be at or better than these 5 SB winning teams.............?

And you think we are on par with those teams? All those teams had great offenses when they won. Plus you're nit picking. That's just the tip of the
ice berg. The Colts were the worst of the bunch. But they P. Manning and some elite receivers. Saints had Brees, Pats had Brady, Chiefs-Mahones/Hill/Kelce.
The Giants had a great defense down the stretch. Ours didn't improve.

Our run D needs to get better otherwise teams will feast on converting 3rd downs.

Ok 7 but that’s 7 to 1. Everett is the only offensive guy they added. Not counting Carter as he was just supposed to be a KR and 5th WR. Really out of balance. Time to add weapons

            It takes more than O.
If Bijan is BPA when we are on the clock, take him. No reaches.
Ekeler is not a JAG but what he is is a 3rd down specialist forced to play 3 downs, short yardage, etc., because every other RB on the roster is a JAG. I specifically describe the use of an elite RB WITH Ekeler, read my entire post.

if Bijan is on the board, tell BPA experts to eat a bag of dicks and rush that card to the podium. The science of “BPA” has so much subjectivity, bias and personal opinion its a laughable fallacy to state with perfect precision who the BPA even is at any given moment in the draft. If they can’t identify at least 10 “better” players than who you want to take that are clearly better - its just an opinion = preference of the expert. Bijan is not a reach at 21, period. The only question is will he even be there.

I didn’t know much about him either and I watched tape. He looks special to me too. He’d be an impact difference maker to the offense, probably help Herbie a lot more than a WR as he’d probably touch the ball 20+ times a game. I still want a speed WR, but i’d take a chance later in the draft if Bijan is there at 21. I actually can’t believe he will be.

What do you mean only 4 on defense? You mean 2022 additions to LAC? Not sure i understood, but if so:

FA/Trade: Mack, JCJ, AJ, Callahan, SJD, Fox, KVN, Reeder, Davison
Draft/UDFA: Ogbongo, Leonard, Taylor, Woods … think I’m missing someone here ? …

Did i get this right - 13 new defensive players in 2022? Thats a boatload by any count. (I welcome corrections … )

Better? Absolutely. Around avg is OK if our offense is putting up points. We have to make them feel the need to throw to keep up and piut them in 3rd & longs and force punts.

GA QB Bennett arrested for public intoxication in Dallas. Not rated to go highly in the draft, as I understand. Maybe Rd3? Will this cause him to drop even further?

Not sure if Viliam/Junior Fehoko is related to
Breidan Fehoko in any way. Either way, this kid needs to be looked at thoroughly. Sacks went up every year and TFLs were impressive throughout his career. Especially the last 3 years.

Also added Zion, but yes, draft pick.

The offense was very good last season. It was the defense that needed help.
Injuries on both sides slowed both down and the defense was better though the run defense wasn't good enough still.
But it was better against 3rd downs.

One more first down by the offense in the last 30+ minutes and the Chargers would have won the game. There’s room for improvement.
